I defined it by one characteristic: "a good friend is the one person you would call at 3AM, when you've gotten yourself into one of those embarrassing situations in which you are only allowed to make ONE phone call." I mean, we ALL have one of those friends... don't we?

  • A friend will bail you out of jail, a GOOD friend will be in jail with you laughing at how stupid you both were..

    Its an anaology, but a good one.

  • A good friend is like a loyal dog. He or she will not judge you for anything you do that might go against your normal grain.

    However, the very good friend will let you know that your actions go against your normal grain and will warn you of the consequences.....and still not judge you for doing the exact opposite.

    Unconditional love and support is a true friend....

    Also..... move into a new house. Your true friends are the only ones who show up to help....
